Contemporary.

      Well, I haven't made one of these in a while. So right now, I'd like to wish a very Happy 16th Birthday; he turned sweet sixteen today on September 16th.
    Just wishing you a happy birthday...don't work to hard today ;] hahahh.

             On to what I wanted to talk about... So, there's this Irish group Celtic Man or more commonly known as Celtic Thunder. A year or so ago, they released an album of 15 songs, self-titled Celtic Thunder. Today, they released Act Two of that album, containing the songs that were sung on their DVD 'Celtic Thunder: The Show' but were not recorded on the first album.
...Well. I've made arrangements where I'm getting it Thursday :] But the point is I'd love it if people would a least give their music a try. It's semi-classical and international because they are Irish men, but many songs are catchy and up-beat. Right now, I'm a sophomore in high school and I walk around singing their song "Raggle Taggle Gypsy" because it always ends up in my head

          If you think you're into everything as I am, check them out. It's a wonderful variety of men from ages 15 to 40 years that creates a wonderful harmony and when they come together, they create music that is amazingly comforting that may make you want to get up and sing along! The stylings of their producer Phil Coulter never ceases to amaze me. Give it a try! Even if you're only mildly curious.
     Anyway, here are pictures of the men involved in the group along with a solo song by each. Enjoy

[NOTE: Guys, don't think it's wrong to at least listen to them once. I have straight guy friends who do listen to them.]

                                                 Captures/Edits made by ME! :]]

Damian's 15 going on 16 and is the youngest in the group and is from County Derry, Ireland. He's been singing since the age of two and also is a huge fan of futbol/soccer.
- My personal favorite :] -
Young Love {Watch In High Quality}

Keith is the second youngest in the group, being 21 going on 22 and also lives in County Derry, Ireland. He's enjoyed singing, songwriting & guitar playing all his life and is a big surfer. [His hair's a sort of a give away, isn't it? hahah.] The song below is one of his own works.
Lauren & I {Watch In High Quality}

Paul is third in line at 28-29 years. He's done a lot of work with his singing and has a strong tenor voice that sounds sort of...gospel-ish. It does sound nice but is excellent when blended with the group. Most of his time is spent singing and he is from Dublin, Ireland.
Knights In White Satin {Watch In High Quality}

Ryan is fourth at 30 years old. He's the 'bad boy' of the group with his smirk and facial contrast of black hair and blue eyes. He has done some work on broadway and for charities, singing from the age of seven. He is from The Moy in County Tyrone, Ireland.
Heartbreaker {Watch In High Quality}

George is the old man of the group at 41. He's more of the fatherly figure and his songs follow accordingly. He's the only Scottish memeber of the group, living in Glasgow, Scottland. He's also worked along side many Scottish/Irish musicians and is a fan of the Boston Redsox.
Yesterday's Men {Watch In High Quality}

There's something about men in kilts that oddly amazes me. But yeah, here are some picture of their performances:

Danny Boy : I don't normally like this song but it sounds a lot better with their harmony & Damian's deep voice.

Raggle Taggle Gypsy : This song never fails to get stuck in my head. There's also a cool drum feature at the end.

Caledonia : It's just a pretty song. They're in kilts for this one & the whole thing just came together really nicely :]

Celtic Thunder on The Today Show : A cute little interview, ended with the song 'Ireland's Call.'

Which one's your favorite???
